I LIVE IN THE CITY AND LEAVE EVERYTHING ALONE (final project 3 video)

I Live In The City And Leave Everything Alone

Coming to school in Milwaukee was a change from a small town, and this video is an attempt to express the feelings of being overwhelmed in a new place. Eventually, though, you find something that centers you and calms you down and makes you feel like you're at home again.

Video Production Started on Wednesday Nov. 1, 2006, until Sunday Dec 17, 2006.

#1 Best Of... The Retreat (no sound)

Image sequence moving away from house at the lowest angle. I was thinking about making this one end in the road with car sounds, like there was a hit.

#2 Best Of... Sidewalker (no sound)

Lowest angle video of camera moving down the sidewalk, with human like turning motions. I was thinking of adding walking sounds to this.

#3 Best Of... Everywhere At The Lake (no sound)

Video sequence of me taking pictures in one spot for 5 minutes, down at the lake. I would like to have a central image to come back to to base the video on, which I will work at.

#4 Best Of... Fake Flower Circle (no sound)

Lowest possible angle shot that circles around a fake sunflower that I found. I like the idea of the artificial life surrounded by the real life.

#5 Best Of... Water Falling (no sound)

Video using the lowest possible angle I could get, looking down into the drain while it was raining. I like the continuous streams of water at different angles around the shot.
