10/23/2006 - The Lake

The Lake

When I finally got to the lake, during my Trek, the sun had disappeared behind overcast clouds and the waves of the water were gray and turbulent. I was almost hypnotized by the movement of waves as I walked in the sand, the wind whipping around me. I couldn’t help myself, as I began to take long stretches of video of the waves from a million different angles, even standing so close to the water that my shoes got completely soaked, and I didn’t even move to dry ground because I still wanted the shot.

What could be that interesting about watching the movements of water?
